How come California Mexicans are very racist?

I am a Navy Sailor who was stationed in San Diego, Mexicans act like only they were the only people who were allowed to live in San Diego. Some of my whites and black shipmates claimed that Mexican gangs tried to attack them calling them some gabachos and mayates. I always tell people not to vacation in California for their safety.

I was a Navy sailor and I never ran into the problems you are saying you ran into and this was in the 70's.

Gangs are generally made up of people who stay together to reinforce their own way of thinking by hanging out with people who share their beliefs, most of them wrong.

Question, how much of California have you seen to be able to tell people that it is not safe?

Also how old are you? If your age is typical of most people in the military you are probably quite young and haven't seen that much of the world yet. California is more than San Diego, Imperial Beach, National City and Chula Vista.

What you're saying is absouluelty genuine, regardless of the undeniable fact which you talk ony out of your perspective. particular Mexican individuals in California do have a racist ideology's and are heavely in touch with crime. This regardless of the undeniable fact that may no longer a clean concept, an identical would be reported of white neo-natzi communities in California or maybe extrem African American communities. the certainty of the issue is that those so stated as racist Mexicans characterize an extremly small proportion of the latino inhabitants and extra specifically the Mexican American inhabitants. those thugs do no longer characterize the values and photograph of what the truthful stressful working latinos characterize. an identical way the ku klux klan does not characterize what white caucasian individuals characterize.

Thank you for your courageous work in the Navy. As usual with these cases, there are racists/non-racists people in every group. The wise approach is to not generalize: some Mexicans are racists, but the vast majority is open-minded and tolerant. We should all be like that.

Even though it's wrong, it's completly true. I don't mean to discriminate, but Cali Mexcians are racist.

it may be because that carry grudges or something like that, but definetly don't try asking them why they're like that.
