Gulmarg is far better than Manali Coz if u visit gulmarg you have to go via Srinagar. Manali stand nowhere if you compare it with beauty of Kashmir. In January Srinagar receive tremendous Snowfall & if lucky you might get chance to see frozen DAL LAKE like I saw last year. In Gulmarg you can enjoy ride of Ropeway & can see whole white world from there.

Gulmarg gets a lot more snow in January as compared to Manali.

Manali is best in Manali rotang poin is best for snow all bollywood film maker also go there for snow and i seen in june my self snow Manali is faimous only for snow and tere is very big markets for wool cloths and wooden market
