The spell checker is there for those who want to use it. But the majority of them choose not to use it and therefore we have so many people who abuse the English language with, "wot, shud, gr8," and whatever other shortcuts they can come up with. They are to lazy to spell it the proper way. Yahoo shouldn't make it any more easier for those who are to lazy to spell it the proper way, or if in doubt how to spell, to use the spell checker.

If you use Yahoo Answers through Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer, you'll automatically get Spell Check.

Who cares if the spelling is not right,as long as the message is conveyed then thats important, many cultures use it and I think its great.

No, but if you need this feature it's included on Mozila Firefox 2.0 not only on Yahoo! Answers, it's on all forms.
Good luck.

It would slow the web site down. I just don't pay attention to mis-spellings. Well, sometimes.
