I know there is a GOD! HE has helped me in my tie of need. IF anyone chooses not to think there is a god, or a supernatural, I will fight to death to defend them. God gave us free will, who am I to argue?

Fellow polls and surveyers?

I believe in a non-Christian, non-Muslim, non-Judaic, existentialist God. If God is All, then he probably doesn't have rigid morals, huh?

I am also a Stellar Animist. So I believe stars are sorts of demi-gods, like angels to the Grandfather Spirit.

I also wouldn't call him God, or a God, that's a backward Pagan notion that more implies a God made in our image. Like Jehovah, Zeus, YHWH, or Allah. (Fundamentalist-I respect your view, you respect mine).

I like to think of the "Creatrix" as a great unseen force, that is more natural than intelligent.

Just when this place, yahoo answers, depresses me by the sheer volume of really mean and seemingly unreasoning kneejerk neocon trolls, it comes along and cheers me up more than I would ever have thought possible, by the very substantial number of posters here who believe in God and will speak up for the God side.

There's always the other kind, the hack venters and hecklers, the ones who actively seek to bring you down for your beliefs. But there are a lot of young people here who haven't been romanced by the media or the materialists or academia or peer pressure to toss the concept of God. I am so pleased and excited by that revelation about this generation.

And, yes, I believe in the Lord God Jehovah, the God of Moses and Abraham.

Peace.

Im not so sure there is a god. But I wish there was..because I need some kind assurance that my mom is more then just in the ground and that I'll get to see her again. But it's hard to belive when you're mom is taken away..from the one thing she asked not to ever have to deal with..cancer. She belived in god 100% and when to church every sunday. she gave and gave..and never asked for anything in return. And where did that get her..no wheres... she asked for a healthy daughter..my sisters deaf and I have wardenburgs..she asked to live happily..for a good part of my life I lived in a grage..my dad..well he's a whole other story..but he's not the best..and she died from the one thing she prayed she never would..and she died young. She promised she'd see me graduate..so much for that. and if there was a god..why do all the good people die and all the assholes live. and if my mom was somewheres other then in the ground..then why havn't I got any signs when I sit here night after night crying myself to sleep just asking for the smallest sign. So don't badger me about not believing in god...I have my share of reasons not too.

Isn't it strange how most people refer to God as "HIM"? I feel it is a spiritual being that has the most creative power of the universe. God is in our souls, our hearts and all living things on the earth has been created by God.

i believe in him when its convinient but most of the time i "sin" i believe that the bible is a book of guidence. but i also believe that it is way past so it needs to be re written. i believe the only people that actually follow that book to the t are people that were born before the 60 and the ones that break it the most are the ones that were born after the 70's.

God, my Father, Friend and All is Awesome! Words can't describe the essence of his existence. I not only believe in Him, I trust in His Living Word, the Bible, as well.

Be blessed.
