I have seen DON in a multiplex & I found a couple of mistakes in Farhan AKhtar's direction in DON-the chase begins again.First of all, prior to the pan banaraswala song, when SHAHRUKH drinks intoxicating Bhaang and loses his senses, he then is offered paan . But he refuses saying that he doesn't like them. He adds that ,"DON ko paan kaana bilkul pasand nahin". Now, when he was acting the role of Vijay, he should have relished paan, but he refuses them. I then understood that he was the real don & fake Vijay. Also, when Priyanka makes a deal & fixes an appointment with Arjun Rampal's friend for purchasing the CD, Shahrukh goes much before the appointment & tries to forcefully acquire the CD without Priyanka's knowledge. Now, if he was the real Vijay, he would have waited for the fixed appointment time, but he did'nt .
DID ANY OF U PEOPLE FIND ANY MORE SUCH LOOPHOLES IN THE MOVIE ?

Dear Anand,ur statement is only 50% true. No doubt, Farhan Akhtar had made a mistake there, but Priyanka,Narang & others had told Vijay regarding Ramesh and everything about him.The fact that they did'nt tell him was about Kamini,Ramesh's fiancee.
Yet, Vijay after claiming to have regained his memory also proclaims to have remembered about Kamini & that he had killed her. The fact that Don had killed Kamini was known only to D'silva, apart from Don himself. The reason is the other bad guys did'nt know Ramesh's fiancee's name. At that time, only I understood that Vijay, the fake Don, is in reality the original Don.

I also found a lot of loopholes in the film. Some of them are:
1)How does De-Silva know Vijay?
2)How does Vijay learn Don’s mannerisms and how does know martial arts? That time I had a small doubt that whether he is Don.
3)How does Jasjit know to go to Malaysia, itself, to search for his son?
4) Wouldn’t simpleton Vijay be scared to jump out of a plane? This time I was sure that this is DON.
5)) How does SRK kill Kareena when the fact remains that he himself admits that there aren't any bullets in his gun?
6)SRK, the Don, arrives in India for a major drug deal, but why isn't he arrested by Boman Irani and his team of cops when he must have presumably boarded an aircraft from KL? Why chase him on a secluded beach somewhere near Mumbai?

Yes,u r right ! There r quite many loopholes in the movie by which the viewer can easily understand that the person sent by Insp ACP D'silva, alias Vardhan, to DON's original residence is not Vijay, but the real DON himself. I, myself, can point out an instance, from which I understood that it was actually the real DON sent by D'silva to Singhania's den & not Vijay. The additional loophole, in question, is :
When Shahrukh Khan declares loss of memory, then Priyanka Chopra & the other bad people show him so many things that he used prior to the accident, but nobody told him about
Ramesh & Kamini - 2 enemies whom he had murdered,
prior to the accident, YET after he acts having regained his memory, he knows very well who r Ramesh & Kamini. Now, if he was really Vijay, then he would have not even heard of the above mentioned 2 names coz they were never told to him, BUT shahrukh still did remember Ramesh & Kamini well. I then understood then and there that the so called fake Don is in reality the real Don.

those aren't loopholes. They were all Don's thoughts and actions since he was Don, not Vijay.

sorry friend but "DON" should'nt b compared vt the earlier one.kindly view the newer version as a different movie;vt different plot's,locale's;cast's;character's; a different story line etc;
I have seen the earlier version when it was released way back ;& seen it all over again many times hence;but yet i equally enjoyed Farhan khan's "don"......
..........so no loopholes!!!!!!

There were none.
Very well made movie.
People love to tear apart directors and movies, and I have not seen anyone succeed yet, with "Don".

I FEEL AMTABH BACHCHAN HAD DONE THE DON FAR FAR BETTER THAN SHARUKH. AMITABH HAS GIVEN A LIFE TO THAT CHARACTER BUT SHARUKH'S DON HAS NO LIFE. WILL FADE DEFENITELY. AMITABH HAS A TOWERING PERSONALITY AND A DEEP VOICE WHICH GAVE A LIFE TO THE REAL DON. I LOVE SHARUKH AS A ROMANTIC HERO. AFTER ALL THE NAME OF THE REMAKE MOVIE SHOULD BE CHANGED TO "CHOTA DON"
