my son's got those blue-gray eyes and my hubby and I have brown eyes, they've stayed the same shade for a long time (14 months), so I doubt they will change. I bet you crap from people all the time about that! Do your parents are in law's have blue eyes? That is probably why they are blue.

No, they will stay the same. The result of the eye color is because somewhere along the gene pool of you or your husband, the blue eye gene was dominant over the brown. Kinda weird huh, since brown is usually dominant :) but it does happen as you know. Hope this helped some.

They actually can change up to eighteen months. My husband has brown eyes and I have blue. I wanted to have a blue eyed baby. I never got it. I got varing shades of brown. My middle child who has the lightest brown eyes, were bluish gray until he was over a year. Yes your daughter eyes will probably change. Your husbands parent and your parents eye color play a role on what color they will be.

I disagree with most from personal experience. Although it may be unlikely to change, my son's eyes were blue until 2 1/2 and now that he is older they are green. It wasn't a huge shift but they changed.

No, not as in going from blue to brown. My daughter's eye color has changed in shades of blue over the years, but that's it.

well....my pediatrician said that they usually change back and forth for about a year and after that, usually stay the color they become. 13 months...i'd say you can probably bank on them staying blue.
