She worked for Watts Bar Nuc. Plant and at one time Sequoia Nuc. Plant. Many considered Ms. Penley a whistle blower, just like Karen Silkwood. She was murdered in front of the North/South Truck stop resturant in her friends car, while her friend was inside. No one inside the resturant saw anything, but said that they heard what sounded like firecracker's going off. Turns out that Penley's girlfriend Chris Whiteside hired the men who murder Judith. Chris Whiteside and the men who were hired plea bargained and there was no trial. So many details limited. Chris Whiteside is still in prison and has been refused parole and has been fighting the state, because the original plea bargain that the state promiced her (she says) was not honored by the state. Not sure if the men Whiteside hired are still in prison or have been release. There are many unanswered/conflicting questions/answers in this case from an investigative jounalistic view.
