I am going to get a macbook soon hopefully, and i've noticed that when people have more that one OS installed say windows XP and apples OS, (through boot camp i guess). they hit their macbooks on the side and it changes os.
so do all macbooks come sensors?

I think maybe someone was playing an interesting trick on you. The MacBook's hard drive has motion sensors build into it. It's used to detect when the drive needs to have the heads parked FAST, like when the computer is falling, to protect disk from damage. Some people have written programs that use these sensors as seismographs, and to generate noises as if the MacBook is a light saber. I suspect that someone wrote a program to either just generate a dummy Windows screen, or perhaps activate Parallels, when the computer is struck sharply.

I dont think that is possible. They have a program called virtual pc, and parralells. It is in your dock and when you want to use windows you click that and windows comes up. Or when the computer is starting you can choose windows. But the parralel program and virtual pc you can be using mac at the same time.

Hi.

No, they don't have sensors that can do that. That video is just clever camera shots.
