I usually put them up the day after Thanksgiving.

My mom started this a couple of years ago. She has her grandkids decorate her tree on Thanksgiving day. The kids love it.

Unlike Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Easter (and others) Christmas is a season (like a football season) & not a day. The unoffical season now seems to start the day after Thanksgiving & ends the weekend after Jan, 1st of the new year. These dates do not stay the same so there are no dates to give.

What difference does it make? Christmas is a pagan holiday that does not honor Jesus. Stay far away from it.
