I thought I would ask this on here because you all do not know me and will probably give me honest opinions. I don't know how much good this will do considering I haven't got a picture of my self but I'll do my best to describe myself. I'm a mixture of my parents....my dad a tall (6'5") very thin Native American and my mom a short (5'2") very curvy little red head. So, I'm some where in between...I'm tall (5'10"), I have very long ,thick (and healthy), dark hair that has a red tint to it...I am slender but I have my mother's curves and I have dark eyes and golden/brown skin like my fathers.
My dress is this :http://www.tbweddingdresseswholesale.com/gowns.htm (the first one you see as you scroll down)
I plan on wearing my hair in loose curls and pulled back from my face and neck, with it flowing down my back. Everything is going to be pretty simple because my dress is so detailed. My make-up will be earth tones and no jewelry besides my wedding ring. What do you think?
Thanks.

I think my dress suits my wedding....it is a very southern wedding and will be held outside at dusk.
Thanks for all the answers!

I saw where someone suggested ear rings....that is a good idea. What do you think of pearl?

You could either wear very simple pearl earrings in your ears. Or a pearl drop, to match the pearling details on the dress itself. I think it would look beautiful.
The only other thing I would add is to use pearl pins to hold your hair back from your face and neck, and to spray your hair with that sparkle spray to make it twinkle like stars in the moonlight.
What sort of shoe do you have? I'd stick with a very simple white sandal.

Or go for these over the top pearly things:

I think that would be very beautiful.I can see you wearing it from the description that you gave of yourself.Good luck with everything and I hope that the day goes as planned. What do you plan on doing about a veil? I think that some thing simple that pins to the back of your head would work really well .Nothing in your face so that way you don't take away from the detail of the dress. I hope that this helps good luck.

Your description is well written and your choices are thoughtfully planned.
If your wedding is at dusk, this is the best dress for your complexion and physical features that you have described.
Designers and first year art students are trained to 'squint' their eyes to get a true sense of form (line) and value (light against dark) to see if a design 'works'.
Yours works in both cases, especially with your hair style. Colours and curve against line that frame your face and body flow very well. Simple and understated. Truly awesome!

That's a beautiful dress that would look pretty on almost anyone, and with how you described yourself it sounds like it will be gorgeous for you. I love how simple it is, too.
Pearl earrings would go perfectly, I think. You could also accent with gold for contrast, but pearl would probably be prettier. Good luck with your wedding!

To the first answer: Anorexic? lol....no, you would have to be curvy to wear that. Can't you tell that it is made for an hour glass shaped figure?
From your description and the picture I would change a thing...you will be beautiful! Though, are you wearing a veil? If not I would put a few tiny little white flowers in your hair. That would be simple yet elegant.
Good luck!

you're literally not really, quite married till it really is legalized. in the different case, you're basically putting on a tutor on your households... your households who're spending their day at your "wedding ceremony", identifying to purchase you presents, and that i'm assuming they're going to be watching your little ones on your pretend honeymoon too. Oh yeah, and there is the entire situation of wanting a witness to signal your license after the marriage ceremony.... do not lie. If the military received't enable him connect b/c he's married, then it basically wasn't meant to be. they're so determined for human beings now that you do not even should be a severe college graduate to affix. i'm particular he will be able to affix without complications.

I think it will be a perfect choice. I have daughters who are around the same and i know they would look just gorgeous in the one you picked out. They are both tall and slender. Your choice is the best for you, so don't let anyone tell you different. It is YOUR day, and congratulations to you!

Your gown is very pretty. I would recomeend that you wear earrings if your hair will be pulled back. Make sure that you have a little color on your face, so that you do not look washed out in the pictures.
