Has anyone seen the new Will Ferrell movie yet? Is the "disturbing images, sexuality, brief language and nudity" very minor and brief, or is there a lot of it? I really want to see it and so does my daughter, and if only minimal and brief situations, I'd let her see it. If a lot in the movie, I'd rather not. Thanks!

I agree with Kiya, unless your 11 year old is very mature they may be bored. I do applaude you taking your child to a movie that will stimulate her and make her think. The movie does deal with the theme of death quit a bit and some depictions of suicide run throughout the movie so you should really decide if this is something your child can handle. Enjoy the movie when you see it. It was wonderful.

Now that you mention it, there is a little nudity that really doesn't add a thing to the movie. It's a scene where the Will Ferrell character is walking through a men's locker room with the Dustin Hoffman character and we're exposed to men taking showers.. the viewer can see men's bare behinds.. I am very sensitive to content in movies and I was a little uncomfortable with that. But that was it. There is another scene where Will's love interest makes a move on him but with no nudity that I can recall and they are shown laying in bed (under the covers) a few times.

It's a cute movie. The scenes you are concerned about are brief.

It's not that bad ..but I don't know if an 11 year old would actually really like the movie. The plot line is a little out there. It's a great movie though!!
