I had a clear/whiteish discharge from the time i was 10 until i was treated (in march) for bacterial vaginosis in venezuela... at which time the doctor told me this discharge was abnormal, especially because i was on birth control at the time... and it stopped. Well now that I am 95% sure (seeing the doctor thursday) that i am pregnant i noticed that it started up again... Should i be alarmed?

By the way it doesn't smell bad (sign of bacterial vaginosis) and its not clumpy or cottage cheesy.... its kind of gooy and smells like my secretions from sex.

(sorry about the gross details... i just thought they might make a difference)

well...when you're pregnant, you tend to ooze from everywhere. that also sounds kind of gross but it's true. i had horrible sinus problems and, yes, you do experience some discharge but considering your history, i'd get checked out just to be safe.

You really might want to ask your dr to give indepth details and test about what is going on. You might even have a yeast build up. However from the description it is a bacteria and he can only prescribe the right type of antibiotics since you are pregnant. If he cant give you the answers that make since I would advise you to look else where (another doctor)

This might be the stuff that was left inside of you after you had sex. It should be normal. However, the next time you see your doctor, let her know about the discharge.
