What's the best practical joke you played on your boss that didn't get you fired?

I didn't personally do this, but some of my coworkers moved the boss's desk by about 2 inches every day. It started out in the middle of the room, and every day the boss wondered if it was his imagination. He knew the office didn't feel right, but he was puzzled. He never said anything, but people keep a lookout to see his expression when he sat down each morning.

the company that i worked for was having its annual awards banquet. All of the big shots were there the whole nine. Everyone from my group sat at the same table. Anyway earlier we all got together and came up with this joke to play on our boss. We got a hold of one of his cigs and put one of those stick explosions in it. Right in the middle of the company president making his boring old speech my boss decided to smoke. Bang! omg I laughed until I almost peed on myself. I guess you would have had to be there lol

I fail to appreciate why someone might want to favor to attempt to annoy or play jokes on somebody else. that is not a form ingredient of do, and that i'm confident you does not favor to be on the receiving end of it if the tables were became. you do not favor to save your boss in examine - your duty is to save your self in examine. perhaps you want to reassess what that is it really is aggravating you to commence with and be a mature human being admitting that your boss isn't ideal, and neither are you.

An old boss of mine used to love red cola (he may still do) and would always bring a bottle to work with him. One hot, summer's day, we poured the red cola out of the bottle and replaced it with salt water and food coloring.

Later, when he came to take a swig from the bottle all we could hear was a scream of rather colorful metaphors from his office. Nobody got fired, but we stayed out of his way for the next few days. lol

I work in a call center and one day just for the fun of it we taped up everything to her desk and when she tried to get in it tape was sticking every where and had to use a knife to cut her way through to her desk, lmao and our head boss we toilet papered his van on his birthday and the worse part it rained later and it was gross to look at, but we laughed anyways and got great pics of it too.

Someone gave my manager a gift - flowers, a big box of chocs and a card. When he wasn't looking... we emptied the chocloates out and left all the horrible coffee flavoured ones, he was really pissed off because we said we never ate it and no one admitted to seeing the culprit. we let him stew for a few hours and then replaced the chocs when he wasn't looking!

I over heard him planning a lunch with another manager (a guy) so I went out and taped the words "just married" on both of their cars which would take a while to take off so they had to go with it on there or just skip lunch.

i filled a fast food chain's assist manager's car radiator half full with unpopped popcorn kernels (2 /5.2 lb bags of Red & White brand in a 89 nissan centra) i was 17 and working a fast food job with an arrogant self centered idiot boss who was rude to customers for kicks

i quit 3 weeks later to report for marine corps basic training

i was living in a tent w/plywood walls. (they were more like cubes I'm in the military and we were on deployment)and we took all of his things out of the cube and moved them out so when he came back from work there was nothing there! we even swept so there wasn't even dust there! it was hilarious, we got it all on tape
