I took my friend to the zoo yesterday (yes, a childish thing to do) and there was this animal there crossed between a zebra and some other animal.
I can't remember what the name of the animal is. What is it called?

I think I know what you are talking about...but darn it I can't think ofthe name. I went to the zoo on Friday...does it look sort of like a deer but it has zebra stripes on it's hind end? Give me a minute and I'll tell you what it is.

Is it the Okapi? There is a picture on this page:

Its quite likely to be an Okapi. It has stripey back legs.
However, if it was a Quagga, please let someone know, as they have been extinct for quite a while!
