i tried to do it myself and i`ve welded the new tire to one side but its wobbling .omg .Do the service guys alter this kinda stuff?

i want more traction and more grip. My car is a vauxhall 220

First of all, what you are doing is not safe. You do not weld two rims together and attempt to operate them on a vehicle. If you are looking for better traction, find wider rims and tires. As stated above, trucks use 4 tires or more in the back to carry more weight.

With enough money and a good machinist just about anything is possible, but if all your wanting is better traction and grip then your best bet would be to get wider tires and rims, just be sure that the "Back Spacing" stays the same.

4 in the rear plus 4 on the ground would be 8 tires...


..You mean like a dually? 6 tires on the ground? I think he means like a dually truck, not actually in the car like spares... oh no...

Why would you want to do this? Trucks do that only to haul a greater weight. Weight far beyond the chassis of any car could hold.

Whatever your thinking, just stop now. Don't give it another thought.

Right a fifty thousand dollar sports car thats not sold in the US and you're trying to weld wheels together. Whatever.

i doubt you could do that without making major modifications. why would you want or need 6 tires?
