Whatever became of the A-Tem in the end. Did they go to prison or did they get away?

I remember whe I was a kid they had a phone hotline taking votes to see how the A-Team goes out. I never did see it though.

At the beginning of the last season,Hannibal, Face & BA were captured and set to be executed. Some secret goverment man said he had proof they were set up in Vietnam and would release it if they worked for his government agency when necessary. They agreed and their executions were staged to get the military away from them. Murdock was declard sane and rleased from the mental hospital. They still helped those who needed t, but also worked with the government.
In the last episode, the man with the information of their innocence said if you help get my friend's daughter back (a teenager who had been kidnpped), I will send the info I have of your innocence to the Pentagon and to all news media. They got the girl back and he kept his promise. They never show them get pardoned, but at least 'the world' knew of their innocence.
