My fiance is currently taking care of his mother who has Alzheimer's for the last 8 years. I gave my dad a kidney. So to some extent it could be true but, my dad was less then perfect and I still gave him the gift of life. Seriously I did.

I've always liked that saying. It's like you better be nice to your kids because when you're older they (the kids) will choose your nursing home.

My children have already promised NOT to put me in a nursing home. I do believe my kids.
