Why do girls dress like sluts everywhere?

What ever happened to their self respect? Don't they realize that men will look at them like a piece of meat instead of a person? Does the attention really mean more than losing your self respect? I can never let my daughter wear a mini skirt or a strapless top. It is very deameaning and shameful.

well, times have changed sooooo much. when the younger generation dresses like that it nothing to do with self respect. its a way to express themselves to target the older generation for a statement that says i can do whatever i like and there is nothing that u can do about it. as far as the men looking at them that's what they want. attention. any kind of attention is better than none. our society has pulled our mothers out of the home and that leaves no one to give the attention to our children that they really need and crave. the way they dress is a cry for help as well as a way to rebel.

No i dont dress like a slut and there is a difference between mini and slut just because you are wearing a mini doesnt mean you look like a slut k and are you trying to make your daughter the most unpopular girl at her school let me guess she cant wear low riders or hipsters either oh and not all strapless tops are sluty either there is also a difference between sluty/hoochie and pretty/cute

whoever is asking this question is stereotyping girls and rude. first of all, some girls dress inappropriately but this is a select few, and it is not your place to demean them. second of all, it is your choice to let your daughter wear certain items of apparel and a miniskirt without the tube top is not "slutty", as you put it, at all. third, it is very fashionable to wear miniskirts, or a tube top SEPERATELY. no one would wear it together unless they were in someplace that elicited such clothing, like the Bahamas. A very common thing to wear, you should not deem it what you said. very respectable people wear miniskirts and the way they dress is how they express themselves. to show some skin is not indecent in any way, as long as it is not too much.

Fashion and peer pressure are to blame i think. Girls go out and dont think of the conseqences that dressing like that could do. Although thats not an excuse for a bloke to take advantage.

this is a generic broad statement. Secondly this mentality is generally only held by 1. Ultra conservative old people.2. Guys that cant get girls that can dress like that. or 3. Girls that dont look good when they dress like that. Let people be and let people do what they want without judging them, People judging other people is a far worse crime than girls showing a little skin.

yes true, mostly its just for attention. i totally agree with you on that, there are conservative ways to wear a miniskirt though. i don't see why they do it though, its just going to get them attention from perverts on the streets. if you came to school dressed like that people will call you a slut. so there's no motivation there. the way i see it is whats the point?

Girls don't dress like sluts everywhere. Right now - I am wearing a really ugly and old pair of grey sweatpants and a San Antonio Spurs shirt. There is nothing slutty about that.

to feel in fashion. mini skirts are okay as long as your not wearing them at night. girls do it for attention.

They have no respect for themselves. They dress like they "want it" but if you "offer it" then you're a pervert. Just look at them like your not impressed.
