Hostel is REALLY Gory! Don't watch it if you have a weak stomach, it made me sick. Yes, it shows people torturing people in the sickest ways possible. If you like gore and brutal torture, watch it. Otherwise stay away, i was not prepared to watch that.

Mystery, suspense and fear direct this film to its bloody ending.
It's a nightmare really.
It shows detailed images on brutal human torturing.
This movie together with The Hills Have Eyes combines psychological tension with visceral scenes of gore and the odd laugh or two.
That's disgusting sadism.

Hostel was very un-Tarrantino. He just slapped his name on it and threw in a few referrences to his other popular movies. It has some slightly gorey moments, and a few that might make you cringe, but it's mostly porn-like. That's part of what makes it un-Tarrantino.
I found it very disappointing. (I'm one of those that was angry for the first 45 minutes or so because no one had bled yet.)

Yeah it is pretty brutal. I had to look away a few times, but it is still a good horror movie.

the story line is what is the scariest, a great plot. sick movie, four stars
