I think babbys are essy to handel. And my partner who had 7 babbys is not affread of theam at all. Some men are actually better parents thin femals you want to know why becouse there not emotional creaters. Yes I am femail and I am saying this. But men (depends on who you are) are better parents then us femals. I know it is not right being a femail( hiting a child) see a male will do it if they deserve it and at some things I will agree to that. Men might be a little afread when there younger just becouse there tiney and tiney things are frigial and brake easley. That is the only time I think a male does not really know how to handel a babby.
OK getting back at hitting a young humman. There is no reason inteal the cild can understand right from rong. By the age of 2. Then if they hit you yes give theam a tiney hit back just so they can feel it like dont buse the pore thing.

You answered you own question.. why are BOYS so clueless when it comes down to babies. Its a known fact that Boys mature at an older age than women. And hey women are the greater sex after all. ha ha never mind men.

I used to be terrified of kids and especially babies. That changed when my wife and I had our son. I didn't know how to do alot at first, and poopy diapers still make me gag every now and again, but I'm tons better than I used to be. I think that I was scared of kids when I was younger because of the responsibility that it implied. That I could screw up a persons life by not doing something right. I also think that alot of guys say that they don't like babies because it shows off a softer side of them. Macho tough guys DONT LIKE BABIES. Another possible problem is that you are talking about "boys" and not "men".

In what way do you mean? What age do you mean?
Boys are immature for longer than girls and girls have a natural motherly instinct when is comes to children. But to generalise as you are doing is not good. Some boys do understand about babies just as some girls have no interest.

girls usually play mommy and baby with their dolls as little girls, that's where the practise comes from, boys play cops and robbers!!! If there is a baby in the house hold girls are also more likely to help with little things and show more interest in the taking care part than playing with the baby...that's my theory form experience anyway.

They just dont have the motherly instinct like us woman do! Some MEN have it tho. You can leave them with a baby all day long and come home and they've already bathed them and cooked dinner...so its the men you need to be after!

I'll give my husband his due, he doesn't know much about babies, but he gives a bloody good go bless him! Women have a natural instinct when it comes to children and babies.

my bf has brought up his 11 yr old son since birth and now looks after our 22 month old baby if i need a break, i dont think that its right for you to stereotype everyone on people you know!
p.s. i think that all MEN have a general clue about babies but dont like to admit that they are all soft and loving!!
