I pass them along. I take it that the person who gave the gift clearly didn't
1. think about the gift so there is no thought
2. if they knew me or liked me they would not give me such a gift
and over the years I've notice it is always people that secretly hate me who give me gifts like that IE my sister in law. she once gave me really cheap ugly pots. I have really nice ones but everybody from both sides of the family knows I hate cooking. I cook pretty well mind u i just don't like doing it everyday.
so she got me the pots as if to say feed my baby brother
Anyway I waited till Christmas wrapped it up and gave it back to her the look on her face was priceless. She said but these are the pots I got you last month (my bday is in November)and I told her that she shouldn't feel bad because I always return peoples gifts if i have no intention of using it. Dumb cow now she doesn't give me gifts but I don't buy her gifts either. Not that it has anything to do with your question On the other hand my eight year old son gave me a stone from the yard for my Bday a couple of days ago and my heart melted. he is really into stone right now. he gave me his best one and I put it in my jewelry box with all my other precious stones

I must be honest and say that I have recycled gifts in the past that weren't really (um) my style I suppose you would say or anything that I would possibly ever use. I received an album many years ago that even my granny wouldn't have listened to. I was about 20 years old and let on to the giver that it was a hard to find album, almost chocked on that lie. Ha! Anyway I was working with this older person and next Christmas guess what they received.

present enjoying cards are the appropriate present once you do not comprehend what somebody needs or you do not have the time to go out and get it. some people would desire to even see them as impersonal or lame, probably because of the fact they experience so which you are able to spend hours in shops or on line searching for a present day. even though, i don't see it that way and that i don't think of that's a solid concept for exhibits like Rachel Ray to deter people from doing so. a present day card enables somebody to %. out what he or she needs with out figuring out to purchase it. What would desire to probable be incorrect with that?

A few years ago there was a national boycott of Cracker Barrel. (Thank God it ended...I love that hash brown thing).
Anyway, my entire family knew I supported this boycott...and yet my sister-in-law bought me a tacky gaudy little Santa Claus thing from there.
I also got a hammer that year....made it very convenient to dispose of the santa thing.
