I've had migraines since I has a teen, I've used a lot of pills and in very bad cases Demerol (strong narcotic). I really want to explore natural remedies, in fact if anyone knows a good site with natural medice info. I woud apreciate it.

Just what everyone has said, is very good info. But what you need to also watch for is your sodium intake. That will and could be the start off of many migraines and headaches. I have cut back on so much sodium that my headaches ceased to exist anymore.

Oh, I suffer w/ Acid Reflux as well and it's awful. I am on Protium 40mg once a day and I take it about 30-40 mins before I eat and I generally have no problems once I've taken this tablet. I tried a natural remedy but it didn't do the trick for me =( Hope all is well.

I hate pills also, but migraines are your body telling you magnesium is missing from your system. Take magnesium pills daily or if you really hate pills use sea salt instead of regular table salt, it is high in magnesium. It takes a few days to start working, but it is well worth it.

keep a food diary. See if your migraines are related to food. I got migraines from eating hot dogs. (The doctor never heard of such a thing)
My sister gets them from eating chocolate, and my mother get them from red wine.
I have greatly reduced my occurrence of migraines by avoiding chemical preservatives in foods.
Not all migraines are food related, but maybe this will help, or reduce the severity of your migraines
