"It is most embarrassing that the U.N Security Council, which should be the defender of nations' security and rights, threatens countries pursuing nuclear fuel under the law to provide fuel for peaceful purposes," Iran's leader Ahmadinejad told the UN.

Who is this moron kidding? I realize, especially after the recent Congressional elections in the U.S., that the world is loaded with idiots, but does he think after openly advocating "wiping Israel off the face of the Earth" that he should be allowed even a BB gun?

The worst part is, pacifist nations -- many much more directly threatened by a nuclear Iran than the U.S. -- just go about every day lah-de-dah. It was lah-de-dah that allowed bin Laden and his cohorts to prepare for 9/11. And does any civilized person really think such terrorist trash would not use a dirty bomb or worse without hesitation given the chance?

WHY don't civilized nations RAISE UP while they still can and CRUSH the barbarians who do not respect life?

My two cents worth:

I totally agree. You get it - however, apparently, a lot of people don't.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a fanatical religous hardliner who supports his own terror organization, the revolutionary guards, along with Hezbollah, Humas and the whole concept of Jihad.

He has made it clear that Israel is "the little devil" and must be anninilated. You can only guess who the "big devil" is.

His country practically floats on oil, yet he wants "nuclear fuel for peaseful purposes."

His rise to power also means that the real power in Iran will lie more than ever in the hands of the Shiite clergy and their supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Nice.

Their demented ideology has made their objectives very clear and their tactics of murder and maiming thousands of innocent victims, for the most part, have not been met with the responce they deserve.

The civilized nations apparently don't rise up because of internal pressure and discontent from the "idiots" you allude to in your question.
I suspect most of them were skipping history classes and decorating their VW busses with flower decals while the United States was bleeding in Viet Nam.

Look at the hatred and unwarrented critisim leveled at Bush in America for FINNALLY responding to the acts of war that these Islamic dirt bags have perpretrated against the United States since 1979.

The United States and its allies are the Islamic terrorists' last hurdle. Iraq is the center of this war on terror. Iran knows this. Syria knows this. The terrorists know this. All of the Muslim nations know this - why don't we know this?

Negotiations is not an option with these psychos.
Least we forget that Carter tried diplomacy and negotiations with these radicals for fourteen months while they held American hostages - and, during WWII, France was still debating and still looking for proof that Hitler was actually a threat to Europe - when their proof came marching into Paris wearing swazika arm bands. And, then, there's Chamberlain with his "peace in our time" rhetoric after his negotiations with Hitler.
Great Britain remembers - apparently, France does not. For all intent and purpose, Spain was defeated when they withdrew their troops after the terrorist train bombings.

These people want world denomination under Islamic rule - they woud cut you head off just to make another video - all the while, we debate their "rights" as detainees, cut and run policies and somehow think this threat will disappear if we just stop antagonizing them.

Wake up, people - America is not the bad guy here.

"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." Albert Einstein

Argue with Albert Einstein's logic - if you feel up to the task.

Just because he is smarter than you does not make him a madman. What don't you ask Mr. Bush why he financed Mr. Ahmadinejad rigged Victory election.

You're right. The US is the defender of a nations security and rights. That includes Iran. The US has to balance Irans rights as a sovereign nation with the security rights of other nations.

I believe in PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.
We should, together with civilized countries, not allow the Saddams of the world to do what they do. When we ignore problems or just "talk them out" we get attacked.

If Israel has made such plans, it merely isn't on the ten o'clock information formerly! What you have heard is merely hypothesis. i could be in prefer of putting off nuclear factors. while the possibility of collectively certain destruction in the previous prevented, working example, the U. S. and Russia from nuking one yet another, nutty Arabic rulers does not care if by making use of attacking Israel in that style that hundreds of thousands of their very own human beings could die. they actually does not care, and that that they had nevertheless locate how in charge it on Israel!

when you get your own country, you can be respected too. I hope you do not use your power to "crush all the barbarians"
( now who is the madman)
it is not CRAZY for a guy to want his country to be first and have what others have.We have shown how we use nukes to intimidate others so of course any country that wants to be free from USA interference is going to rationally want nukes too. it may not be good for us but it is certainly not crazy.

So, we "civilized" nations should act like barbarians and invade other nations to impose "freedom"? Wow, that sure has worked well in Iraq and Afghanistan, hasn't it?
Killing in the name of peace is oxymoronic, puddin'.

Appeasement until death.. . . .That seems to be the motto of the cowards in the world. . .. a motto that will bring death, much sooner than planned.
