American Indian tribes be re-enstated to allow the tribes to occupy their origianl reservation lands, and operate as Independent nations? After all the Isrealites were removed from the middle east for 2,000 years and in 1949 with the support of US and the UK , founded and occupied what once was Palastine. ( I am not anti-semitic, but making a point), our people, American Indians were forcably removed from lands granted to us, (how kind since it was ours to begin with!) be re enstated. This for my people would refer to the treaty of 1868 and the Great Sioux Nation!

Casinos are great for some however since many reservations are located in remote areas or in states that permit gamming, like South Dakota, our casinos have been a waste of money, why go to the midle of nowhere to a casino, like on Rosebud or Pine Ridge when you can go to town and do the same?

I heard a story once that the natives were asked if they owned this land and their reply was, " how can you own the land, anymore than you can own the sky and the water? " Just recently the USA stated that they did own the sky, we already know they have laid claim to the land and are stealing water as fast as they can fromt he Great Lakes. But you don't think that the Native Americans are ever going to get the same deal that Israel gets do you? They have money, they own New York and half of the state of California. Anything they want from Washington they get, like the USA fighting their battles for them in Iraq and Afghanistan. The claim that the Natives in both Canada and the USA are making may never be settled because the land they would give back to you is already owned by someone else. Both governments in Canada and the uSA have bungled these land claims so badly that there is a greater chance of the state of Israel getting the land in question before you do. To the victor goes the spoils of war, despite any treaties the government thinks you lost all those wars and the treaties are too long ago and too muddled up to know if they were ever paid or not. The USA has entered into a Free Trade agreement with Canada over softwood lumber and the trade court has ruled in favour of Canada on every issue where money was taken by the USA in the form of a tariff or duty. About 12 billion dollars in all over the last number of years. The USA is supposed to pay back this amount to Canadian lumber companies. So far they have not seen a nickel of that money and may never get it. What Uncle Sam stands for is that he is not ever your Uncle but always someone else's. Now I didn't say he was from Israel but the chances are he is. When the Nazi's took billions of dollars from people in the second world war and put it in banks in Switzerland, the Jewish people filed law suits and got that money back about 5 years ago. Wow is that like an open money machine or what? Chances of you doing the same about land claims, forget about it. Unless you become part of the state of Israel you are not in the same boat but good luck anyway.

There is no question that the American Indian got the short end of the stick. However, Jerusalem and most of the land making up modern Israel has been changing hands back and forth for thousands of years. The area has been controlled by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, British, Turks and more. It is impossible to make an undisputed claim for the land now controlled by Israel by any group including the Palestinians.
As for the American Indians, it’s too late. There would be no practical way to set the clock back. Besides the American Indians can only be traced back about 10,000 years. That is hardly a significant time when viewed from the prospective of mankind’s one million year history. Who did the Indians take the land from and so on and on…
It is time to move forward and not backwards.

Playing with fire aren't we?
As a person who has Creek Indian heritage, that looks far more Scotch Irish. This is tough.
I believe the nation of Israel was created wrongly in 1949. The people of Palestine prior to that were jewish, muslim, and christian, and lived in peace.
The pain and injustice of the indigeneous people of the American continents is a terrible piece of history, and there are no reparations that can make it better. We just need to try to move forward. Not backwards.

Take it up with Mr. Bush. He seems to have an answer for everything, and if he can't help you, well , hell, the Democrats surly can.
I have a question for you though. Why can I not open a casino, but the Indians can? I know lots of Californians with large tracts of land. But the government says no to me and yes to you!
Say, I have an idea. You Indians could start to buy up the land that you claim. Then it is yours. And you can you use the money that bilk out stupid people that throw it away in your casinos. Hey! works for me! Want to buy my house?
Life is not fair, and we all have to accept that.

You may have a good point. But, sadly, this not how governments see this. Usually world governments do what helps them personally and financially. If, there is nothing to gain, as in money in their pocket or control/power, then they do nothing. This how I see it, just my opinion.

I agree with you, but I'm no sure wat you are asking for. Whatever your grievence, you can bring it up with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
BTW, nothing in your statement says or even implies any form of anti-Semitism. Not sure why you would even mention it.
