i'm trying to find out for example the effect of ocean currents like gulf stream on their surrounding atmosphere or something like this.

i took oceanography in high school and there is very little relation. I took 4 months of that class and there was one chapter on meteorology. The rest of the book was about oceans. The only relation is that the oceans affect the weather.

Meteorology can effect ocean currents as temperature variants can heat or cool areas of water. This temperature variations is what influence the currents.

Oceanography can effect the weather by releasing into or absorbing heat energy from the atmosphere. Hurricanes are created this way.

Meteorology (weather) can overheat parts of oceans to change currents, which affect the weather.
