I am just getting over it, thank goodness. For me it went in stages almost, horrible cough first, followed by stomach, then extremely high fever and congestion, then exhaustion.
I slept all day yesterday pretty much. I got up a few times.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I might be inclined to say that the annual "killer flu" is designed to control the population by killing off the people living in the least developed or "over populated" countries.
Every year $$$ are given to medical researchers to come up with a vaccine. There is of course only enough to go around to those (individuals or countries) who can afford it (or are of the correct political leaning in some countries).
The result is two-fold. First, the "right" people survive. Second, the virus mutates and give cause for more research $$$.
Why do you think they never eliminate the flu? It is a great scam.

There are treatments and vaccines you will get at a similar time as battling the flu. if your fever is unquestionably that top you're able to desire to take a chilly bathe, some fever reducer, something sturdy like motrin, and make way on your medical doctors place of work or ER. extreme flus may bring about better problems alongside with pnuemonia, and rhumatic fever. The flu virus has been mutating for years now, ever when you consider that we presented the flu vaccine. The virus won't be able to reproduce properly in people who're vaccinated so it would desire to mutate previously spreading. that's the place those problems can come from. at a similar time as you have the main suitable to take your wellbeing and death into your guy or woman palms, please evaluate people who remember on and love you. visit the ER.

From the questions you asked about smoking, I'd say that your immune system is weak and your lungs are already shot. What you have may be more than just the flu. If it is just the flue it would attack you worse than a nonsmoker. If you were so irresponsible in your choices in taking care of yourself, I hope that at least you were responsible in enough to have health insurance, so I don't have to pay for your poor choices. Sorry no pity, here.

Every uear someone proclaims "this year it is the killer" and every year there are those people that run around saying the sky is falling. Just be smart, get a flu shot, stay away from people who have the flu and wash your hands!

For what it's worth, I have never had a flu shot, and I have never had the flu.
I'm not going to change what works for me.
