Problem is I can't find a usb for my phone. It is a Motorola V635.

I have never heard of the phone storing its text messages on the memory card. They usually stay on the phone or you can move them to the Sim (limited though depends on the Sim card).

For Motorola's, usually you have to delete them one by one( I have a Razr Vx, N93 and a P990i). unlike the nokia, you can choose all or mark some. same goes with Sony Erickson.

usb cable isn't necessary to delete text messages

Go to settings and/or, depending of your phone, select SMS>settings>don't save, more or less that is what you have to do
