A lot depends on where you're doing your work at...If at home, your room may be your best bet, provided you don't have a TV or other popular electronic device running at the same time...
Has your being distracted always been a problem regarding homework and other tasks requiring long stretches of concentration?? You may have attention deficit disorder (ADD) if that's the case...It's not something that's bad, you just have to be tested and then develop a strategy for maintaining your focus on a task over time...
Left untreated, ADD can carry on into your adult life and have a negative impact on your career path, so I'd get that checked out now before it really becomes a hindrance to you in school and beyond...Sit down and talk to your parent(s) about your difficulties and/or a teacher or guidance counselor, show them that you're serious about getting help with this problem once it's determined what's going on with your concentration...
If they find that or any other related problems, great! That's half the battle...
Good luck!!

I have the same problem. I just sit down. and think "I will do this" and give myself an hour or so, then take ten min. break. and then go back to it. I force my brothers to restrain me from the computer, radio, and it works!

Stop eating sugar and pop. Shut the t.v. off, turn your radio off. Sit at a desk or table that is clear and focus.
