Any pastel shade will suit u. But for an evening reception black saree or sharara is a sure shot winner. Don't forget to team ur dress with a crown. Never feel black is not for ur colour.
For morning functions baby pink skirt (a flared one) with light orange dupatta is good choice. A maroon dress will look traditional & chic. Any dress must be accessorized properly to look like a queen on D-day.

u can choose a white or ivory color dress for your wedding.the other colors u can choose not for dress but indian wear clothes r maroons and dark pinks, any dar colors suit wheatish complexions.

flaming orange would suit you and don't go for blues,pinks ,red and maroon because these colours have become very common these days.
