no they are cute you just get them out and hold them and pet them.You can buy those neat tunnel houses and put them in a car or a ball and watch them roll around your house.Some hamsters bite you just have to not put your hands by there mouth.

It depends on the breed and how much it has been handelled. If it has been handelled all its life then it will be a happy loving hamster. If it has been mistreated or left on its own with no human contact it may bite of refuse to be handelled. If you want to get am hamster then hold it first and see if it is ok and that it looks heathy. All the hamsters i kno are very friendly because they get held every day and get lots of treats and love. (They are all syrian hamsters) Hammys are lovely pets!

Get one you can handle. If the one you want you cannot handle then don't get it. They are harder to tame. Once you have one handle it regular.

A LITTLE ONE TIME I SHOWED MY SISTER MY HAMSTER THEN IT BITE ME I WAS BLEEING EVEN ASK MY SISTER IT HURT REALLY BAD.
