WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS ONE OF TWO THINGS. THE FIRST WOULD BE LIKE THE LAST ANSWERER SAID, AND FLASH THE BIOS. OR AN EASIER AND SAFER ALTERNATIVE WOULD BE TO GO TO COMPUSA OR SOMEWHERE LIKE THAT, AND BUY A USB 2.0 ADD-IN CARD. THAT WAY THE HARDWARE IS ON THECARD TO HANDLE USB 2.0.

you need to get it from the manufacturer of your motherboard. the USB controller is part of the chipset and is going to be specific to that chip.

if its a VIA you should be able to update all your chipset drivers at the same time coz its probably a 4in1
