i bought mine (iPod Nano 2GB) from my dad who won it from a poker tournament. he only charged me 3,000 pesos (60 dollars) since it cost him that much to enter the finals.

I bought my iPod Video from target last year and only paid around $400. The cost went down, maybe to $200? Check out target, best buy, or circutcity's website and see what they've got.

skip the ipod.. get an mp3 cell phone. It's easier, better, less expensive, and you don't have to carry around another gadget.
I have a treo 650. It has a removable drive that you can plug directly into a computer to put on more music. Also, I can IM with AIM, download stuff from the internet, plan you day, store thousands of numbers,
