The real problem is that the people who need to say enough aren't doing so

Unfortunately, it will take a lot more for the powers that be to "say enough." Even 3,000 U.S. military deaths and 150,000 Iraqi civilian deaths (source below) isn't enough. I knew from the onset of this military intervention that it would intensify anti-American sentiment in Iraq and the Middle East. And this is one case where I wish I had been proven wrong.

the figure of 600,000 civil deaths is becomming known,
it was by a reputable agency ,its hell there apparintly peaple with skills are leaving in droves ,docters ,nurses etc
the schools are run down and there seems no real solution
thats what you get when you invade a place and put a heck of a lot of solgers, police and beurocrats out of the income stream
they know how to organise carnage we are witnessing
one if your respondants said 150,000 dead but thats dead wrong,
we ned to get out
give then notice to sort it out by xmass
warn them we have plenty bombs
if needed to bring the peace ,each death will get a bomb
5 deaths 5 bombs
tell them they have nearly 2 mths to make nice or else were gone
you cant keep peace when your giving them skills and training to kill and controll
we are teaching the wrong skills
giving the wrong assistance
putting weak people into power they can opnly hold by our children dying over there
stop arms going in take as many arms with us when we leave
reinstate the embargo on any and all weopens even metals
dont embargo food or medicine
man the borders
greate no go zones ,allow trade only in non metal goods or anything that can make a bomb
take the toys away from the willfill chldren we made. all of em
tell their leaders we made you we will break you
they lobbied us to come now tell them make nice or else
xmass fix it
or we let george loose on ya homes ,palacis and we begin with the leaders,
the lobbiests started this ,get those who made gains from it to pay to fix it up
war propherteering is a crime, penalty is death.,with full restitution of the war gains.,teach those lobbiests a lesson they wont forget
those liers who gave faulse info go straight to jail
get serious

This is a good question for President Bush. He started this war and now it has spiraled out of control. Unfortunately he opened a can of worms and there most likely will not be an end to this violence anytime in the near future. May God bless our troops while they are in harms way.

I think it will stop when people start to value life, the pursuit of knowledge and understanding much better than how many holes you can put into your enemy. Enough is enough. Love everybody.

enough is never enough, America needs to pull out in the middle east and start taking care of what matters in America, if the people of the middle east want democracy let them fight on their own i think the same thing should go for Israel as well , why should we fight their fight cause everyone to them is a terrorist

It is difficult to predict. The best thing could have been not to invade Iraq.
