I went through the same thing. Its hard.... sometimes theres just no way of knowing... and thats part of being in love. your not 100% sure that hes in love with you. if you feel it in you heart when he touches you or tells you something thats how you know. and if you don't feel it then don't waste time on someone you like when the someone you love is somewere out there alone.

"BF" and i THOUGHT he loved me but he really loved my best friend so i told him to leave and he did but then i noticed that my other best friend was always there for me when i needed him and i asked him why he would care and he said he loved me and i was so shocked but i knew it was true cuz i saw it in his eyes.

It's all the little things he does. In the beginning of the relationship everyone puts their best side forward but after getting to know a person you see all the sides. If he has seen all of your sides and still believes you are the most beautiful woman he has ever seen (not just on the outside) then he truly loves you. Have you ever just caught him staring at you with that light in his eyes that says I am so lucky that she is with me, I am so lucky to have her.
I have been with my husband almost 13 years...we still hold hands (when he's not holding the handles of my wheel chair.) He still gets that glimmer in his eyes that makes me feel I am the only woman in the world.
Love is a feeling of joy so profound, but it is also work. If you truly love someone and they truly love you, you will know it in your heart, it's in their eyes and in every action, and reaction that you see.
Love usually finds you when you think there is no one for you, when you are at your worst there is someone who still loves you just for being you and your heart, body, mind, spirit will know when it's right. Just trust yourself and your instincts, if it is right you will know it and will not have to ask.

His love , degree of love is measureable by you .
You will notice that , more and more, you are prepared to give in. In the initial stage you will be demanding more out of him than you are prepared to give in. You will psychologically feel inclined to give in as the time goes.That means you are internalising the emotions and feelings and more and more you are convinced that he is truly liking you.
Conversion of that liking to Love is complete when both want to give more than take. That is the end point of doubts and starting point of commitment.
