To me it seems a little intriguing! I donot understand what you mean by "new Beginning" . Normally it is understood as some beginning was done and that didnot work out well . And, after a little hesitation and rethinking another beginning was done ...a new beginning.
You, now, say new beginning cannot be made and that means that the earlier ( first ) beginning should run its course and that will/may lead to happy ending.
Again , I donot understand what "race" has anything to do with this.
It is a tough question to understand for people like me.

Not bad! Just matters how you look at things. I think Every Day is a new beginning! No matter what path you are on or what you have done in the past we have a new chance every day to make a new start and change the way we live, act ... Not always easy but a positive attitude like yours is the best start!

I think we all can chose to begin a new at any time. If the day isn't going well or the week or the job or whatever I can chose something else. I agree that happy endings are created by those that want one. Blessed Be

It's nice , good, and optimistic. I am going to substitute in "I" for "no one" and for "anyone", and use it as one of my personal mantras for tough times.
