Not everyone has a bowel movement every day. As long as you do not go long periods of time (4 days or longer) you are not likely at any increased risk of colon cancer or other diseases.

The commonest wrong idea about motions is that not passing a stool causes absorption of toxins. As per medical records people have gone on for weeks without passing a stool and without problems. As long as there is no discomfort in passing the stool, thereis no need to worry. The risk of colorectal cancer is related to diet and genes more than constipation

"Normal" varies from 2 or 3 times per day to every 2nd or 3rd day.
You have nothing to worry about - as long as you don't have a lot of difficulty with passing the stool (too hard), then you are fine.
There is absolutely NO science to support the mistaken belief that you will get "toxins" from not passing stool every day. This "autointoxication" theory is complete bullsh!t.

You NEED to get your bowels regular. It is your diet. If you eat lots of fiber and cut down on fats you will find that you go more often. By fiber, I mean 100% whole grain bread, fruits, veggies, potatoes, brown pasta and rice, and anything that creates bulk. The more bulk (add bran to foods) the better the stool is and easier to pass.
Fast food diets are dangerously deficient in fiber. And snacks at home are even worse (chips, crackers etc). Cut down on milk products like cheese and up the whole foods (eat lots of natural foods uncooked).
Also you can talk to a herbalist and they can give you natural safe laxative herbs.
It is not wise to go less than one time per day. If the toxins stay in your digestive tract or colon for long periods of time you can get diseases (cancer, diveticulitus ect).

It depends on the quantity and quality of food you intake. You should avoid habitual constipation that leads to some abdominal disorders.
