This is on behalf of a dear freind coz obviously i'm not a woman , this is her talking .I am a 56 yr old woman who was married but now divorced for 4 yrs and still cohabitating with ex , we had not had sex for 10 yrs and i started a relationship with his best freind , when the relationship began he asked me to marry him and now after 3 yrs every time i mention marriage he draws away and says , when i am free ,( meaning me ) coz i still live with my ex , what should i do ?

Sounds like you are having the best of both worlds without compromising and this second one did right to ask you to decide....Untill you are free of your ex....he is not going to come near you and will always avoid your question! So...decide what you want.....good luck!

You should live separately from your ex - it is obviously making the best friend uncomfortable - he probably doesn't know where he stands and feels a bit threatened by you still living with the ex

Don't marry anyone. Move into a home of your own, and just enjoy dating and the odd weekend away. I would only marry anyone if: They were about 95, and very rich.

the most obvious thing would be to move out or kick your ex out of the house, your dragging each other down. How will either of you move on?
