I think that the domain is all real numbers because the graph can go on and on with no restrictions. The range I am unsure how to calculate.

-sqrt 2 cos(6x+1)-9

X can be an value so domain is all real numbers. x can be -1/6 as this just makes cos(6x+1) =cos (0) = 1..As x varies, cos(6x +1) varies between a max of +1 and a min of -1.
Thus the range is between -sqrt 2 (1) - 9 = -sqrt 2 -9 and
-sqrt 2 (-1) -9 =sqrt 2 - 9.

i feel x cannot be -1/6 as ix x=-1/6,6x+1 will be zero and
1/(6x+1)^9 will be indeterminate
