By a light year Gerrard. I'm not a Liverpool fan but he is without a doubt the best player in the world. Everybody says Ronaldinho is but isn't it strange how "the best player in world" is always a striker or playmaker midfielder. Gerrard is very good at EVERYTHING and exceptional at perhaps only passing. Ronaldinho is of course extremely skillfull blah blah blah. But Gerrard can do 80% of what he does and much more beside. In my life I've never seen a player almost single-handedly win the F.A cup and the European Cup. Maybe not single-handedly, but he totally and utterly inspired both victories. He is not human.
