how does Judaism help with the upbringing of Jewish children?

The Jewish people have been quite successful in surviving many centuries of hatred, prejudice and the Holocaust. And maintain an unproportionately high role in society. There are only about 13 million Jews worldwide, about 1% of the total population.

As a good guideline to a healthy and prosperous lifestyle, I feel the Jewish culture is one worth passing on down to ones children.

Why do you have to ask this question?
If you are bringing up Jewish children then I would assume that you would know about Judaism.
I brought my children up as Roman Catholic. I do not believe in all that it says, now, but I do believe that it gave me and my kids the education to know of one religion and then to make questions of the next.
To not teach a child of any religion only gives them ignorance. Teach a child any religion and they will have the knowledge to look and and to question others.
Just look at Christmas now! Non-believers will celebrate Christmas. Even in Christianity, Christmas was never the date of birth of Christ. It was the celebration of the sun growing back and re-warming the earth.
Teaching just one religion will just give you a very narrow minded child.
I know. My father was very narrow minded.

It teaches Jewish Children that history will repeat itself, antisemites will for no reason what ever hate them, that nothing they do could possibly be the cause of generations being persecuted. And that as long as they ignore Goya they can do as they wish.
