I've liked this bloke for ages (years since I first met him) and told my friend but a couple of months ago when we were out she snogged him in front of me, I wasn't best pleased but let her off as I ended up going home with him. She apologised a few days later and blamed her being drunk so I said not to worry bout it as I was the one that went back to his! Anyway the last time we went out she did it again, then was very apologetic, but then decided to tell me she'd liked him for longer than me. I admitted defeat and told her to go for it eventhough it was killing me inside. I have since text them both and asked how it was going his reply was that "nothing was happening they r just friends and that he prefers to be single" her reply was "things ok been out a couple of times". What should I do, I think I still like him?

Sounds like he's playing with both of you. let your friend have this guy and you find someone else. She'll get kicked to the kerb sooner or later...might be what she deserves!

Hi. My honest answer is that you should think about getting out of this circle of people who keep you tied to the pub dramas that pass for real adult relationships. You deserve much better than that. Work on getting out of your current life situation. Develop your own intellect and talent. Imagine yourself in a world of friends where having these kinds of dramas doesn't happen. Meet decent men with a future and women who don't get drunk. It could be the doorway to a happier life for you. You are a smart and lovely young woman. Go for it. I know you can do it!

Not being funny but it seems this guy has got u and ur friend wrapped around his little finger he says jump and u two turn on each other to see how high i think it's best that u both leave him, there's plenty other guys that will treat u with respect u went home with him but he still didn't ask u out and i no ur friend shouldn't have kissed him in front of you but u could've took ur friend to one side and if she said she liked him before u she could've told u ages before. Like i said move on and you will find someone that will like u and not cheat on u with ur friend

Why was you going out with your friend anyway? Surely after he took you home for "you know what" your friend would have taken the hint and thought to her self "no...must not do this!!!" And as for the whole complete story of "I've liked him for longer than you" what bill sh** is that! I tell ya ditch ya so called friend she aint worth it, she basicly used you to go out with you and your lover so she could get in with another snog!.....

maybe try to make him jealous, and then if he does ask u out, it is ur choice to say yes or no, but the other guy u found to make him jealous with, might be a betta guy.
i know how u feel, i have just been in a similar situation.....
or maybe tell your frend that coz u still also like him, tell her that maybe it is best that BOTH of u dont go out with him, i wouldnt let a guy get in the way......

your friend has broken an unwritten rule that you dont go for fellas you both like. both of you should back off. her apology would hold no water with me. i've been in the same situation but it was an ex of mine, it drove me mad. my advice to you is drop both of them as they both sound like they deserve each other. he cant be much of a catch if he can kiss your mate then take you home. find someone who only has eyes for you.

It' very too late now, you do not want to sleep with him after he has been with your so called best mate. She is no friend to do what she did. I say move on and get infatuated with another bloke. You were much too kind to your friend to admit defeat. Now try to find much nicer friends. Back stabbers not included!!!!!

Yikes, he does not sound like someone that wants to get in a relationship anyway...he just likes to "snog".
I would wait for him to ask you out on a date...a respectable date...before doing anything.
I would not pursue it though, sounds like he just wants to play (in the US that is a "Playa").
