grizzly bears? 12 ft is a lot of animal!!!black bear if mature should be able to do 10 ft?

gotta find out what animal is doing it first. wrapping them is unsightly but often the only option to protect the trees...there also may be chemical deterants available that you can apply.

Here where I live it would be bear. You can tell by the claw marks.Bears can climb as high as they want.

moose likely, only thing i can think that would eat bark and get up that high
