Well generally,this works alright for females The reason being that girls concentrate on being a part of the animal Like balance,trust and overall wellbeing of the horse.Sort of partnership...Whereas boys/men tend to try to prove thier superiority over the animal.So girls put thier cares and worries aside, to concentrate on the task at hand,Namely being part of a team,Therefore thier riding has therapeutic advantages
