Bearing in mind that when you see at the end of the end-title sequence the word Syco, that's short for Simon Cowell. As it's HIS production company responsible for putting the whole affair on, then I have a strange feeling that the voting is as much for show as anything. ... but I still can't fathom how those two smarmy sickly smiling pair of Scotsmen are still in the running, and I don't care what anybody says, if that Ray was to make a CD or DVD, I'd be first in the queue to buy a copy -- he's the only one with a bit of real spirit to his performance. At least he got my feet tapping !

As a fan of the show (dont shoot me) my husband and I see year in year out patterns and no each judge has two acts each left. I am 100% sure that votes do not count until the final night! I belive that they alread know WHO they want the top four acts to be and final three however I do thing the act who wins will be decided by public vote.
I think it will be Leona, Eton Road, Ben and Robert left in and like you feel for sure Simon has already decided who will win LEONA me I would prefer Ben but what am I? A humble voter who's vote appears to count for nothing! Look what happened with Will and Garath Simon did not get his way then did he?

I think it's already decided. Last year, a few weeks before the last series ended I was looking on a site that listed new singles for December and they had Shayne Ward there with the X Factor 'Christmas' song. How did they know he was going to win because at that time it was still in the deciding stages and anyone still in it should have had the same chance of winning. I knew then that Shayne would win, it was decided already.
Plus Simon fancies her so I think she will win, even though Ben is a better performer and will appeal to more people.

Leona has an amazing voice, and in my opinion has the best chance out of all to win the show....but she wont because like every British reality television show, a being a woman and especially a woman of colour has a slim to no chance of winning. What a shame. When are things in this country going to change? I'll probably get loads of thumbs down for my answer but we all know its the truth.

Sure Leona has a great voice but what else can she do apart from power ballads?? Last night they were going on about all Ray does is swing, Leona is just the same with the ballads, like someone else already said, too many Christina's and Mariah's already, let's see what else she can do.
I much prefer Ben, he's got a more original voice and i thought his version of the Abba song last week was excellent

Given the rise in emotion caused by the McDonald Brothers both north and south of Hadrians Wall, I now confidently predict that as they are already 50% of the way to cult status they will robustly sing '500 Miles' in the final, complete with red stick-on sideburns, sporrens, bagpipes, tam o' shanters and all the rest of the b******s that passes for scottish culture. There will not be a dry eye from Harwick to the Orkneys as the glorious duo take the x-factor title back to 'Bonnie Scotland'.

No femal has won this kind of contest since Michelle Mcmannus I would like to think you are right because her range is superb. I would say yes voting does make a difference, but are the girls going to vote for Leona, or are they going to vote for Eton Road or Robert, not Ray because he belongs back at school.

I think Eaton Road because in the first series it was somone from the older category and then someone from the younger ones and now it has to be a group.
So no I don't think it really matters who you vote for because I think it's decided already by who they think will make the most money etc. I don't think it was always like that but after people like Steve and Michelle Mcmanus winning and then the public not even caring about them or buying the albums I don't think they'll leave it to chance anymore.

The public never seem to learn. Do you really want another singer like Leona? Ben is more unique. Leona is not original at all.
Ben will finish 2nd and become a star. Leona will become a pub singer.
