I think it was called Ann and Joe. It was a take-off of the Abba, sorry, Brotherhood of Man song 'Angelo'

I found this.....
Long ago, outside a chip shop in Walthamstow
was a young rocker, called Greasy Joe
Who put on his helmet and said "Let's go"
He was keen, went down the high street like Barry Sheen
Trying his best to look really mean
Till he sees Ann on her new machine
Rummmming away together, Rummmming away together Ann and Joe.....etc etc...
I used to love the Barron Knights, My Dad knew them back in the 70s when he was a Doorman at a Club in Essex they used to perform at regularly.
Hope this Helps

I'm sure that was an 'amusing' version of Angelo, initially by Brotherhood Of Man, dating from the late 70s or early 80s or so.
It was in the vein of taking popular songs and substituting supposedly funny lyrics. Very popular wioth downmarket cabaret acts, notably The Barron Knights.

Parody of Brotherhood of Man's "Angelo" (often confused with Abba's "Fernando").
It was recorded by Barron Knights. Very good comedy group of 60's and 70's. Don't knock them until you have seen them live (sadly I have - way back in 1979!!)
