He is a consumate politician and is doing what he has to do.
Rummys resignation, one he refused to accept untill now was a bone he tossed to them hoping it would quiet the voices that want impeachment hearings.
He is saying what he thinks we want to hear and what his advisors tell him he must.

The fact that Democrats vote for Democrats does not make them unpatriotic and all Republicans do not say that about Democrats. We have a tendency to apply statements by the most partisan people to everyone. This is a disservice and does not support intelligent debate. Most extreme liberals call all Republicans blind sheep, this is not true either. It amuses me that Democrats cannot even accept a favorable statement about their party as a show of good faith. Democrats need to divest themselves of the hate and start stating the positives. Your party is now in power it's time to show everyone this positive vision for all Americans they have been claiming. Just attacking the other side and claiming insult where there is none intended is no longer sufficient and will be a recipe for failure if it continues. In short, if someone states you are unpatriotic, either tell them why they are wrong, or ignore it as the idle rantings of the extremely partisan mind.

You mean in the sense that your question is unpatriotic. As you took a positive and twisted it into a negative. That is very unpatriotic. This kind of unyielding strife that hurts America as a whole. Though as a whole the Democratic party is patriotic they are far from the once great party of the 1960's and 1970's. I'm not thrilled with the far right either. Time for an onslaught of moderates to wield power.

The Tiger has changed his stripes since he found himself in the Lions den . The dems not being patriotic was only rhetoric. Hell Bush stayed as far from the Vietnam war as possible , how was that patriotic ? Many republicans have a lot of support for war as long as they and theirs aren't the ones fighting , but that's what the poor are for .

Dont need Bush to tell me I am a patriot. Just because I am not Republican doesn't make me less than a patriot. The very idea that he said it makes me angry.

Just because you dont believe in an endless war without an end game strategy or quantifiable goals doesn't make you a quitter. It makes you smart.

Kind of telling isn't it? And think, a few months back he was trying to convince the "sheep" that democrats, or anyone not marching to his orders blindly were traitors. Now he wants to save his cowboy butt... Go figure.

I wonder when he will snap his fascist fingers next and try to another "lynch mob" on fellow humans (even if they are democrats). I suppose that will come after he is out of office and drunk at some party (while it's caught on tape).

And yes this has been Bush's statements all this last week, now he is best bud's with Nancy etc.

We have been figuring out to purchase a conflict which the two Republicans and Democrats voted for based on a similar information. Now you will say it grew to become into in accordance with lies yet you have not any evidence nor will all people else have any evidence or produce any evidence. the only evidence we've is that Liberals lack dedication even whilst our buddies international are relying on our dedication. We have been attempting shop the financial equipment going which grew to become into already tailing downward popping out of the Clinton administration's final term. We have been attempting to circumvent the housing bubble created by ability of Liberals in the ninety's who theory we would desire to continuously stress banks to make extreme threat loans to those that probably does not be waiting to pay. whilst confronted with threats of regulation from Clinton, the banks caved and created the transforming into housing bubble. i comprehend that Liberals are the only ones allowed to pass back in the previous. yet that doesn't count variety in a liberals eyes. We tried to repair the Fannie and Freddie issue in 2004 however the Democrats does not enable it go the the floor of the Senate for debate. i assume they did not desire the Democrat representative who grew to become into relationship his buddy who ran this technique to interrupt up with him. only one greater element. The 6 trillion in debt that has been further when you consider that Pelosi / Reid have been given into place of work does not count variety in a Liberals eyes does it? the further 10 trillion in debt that Obama needs to function does not count variety in a liberals eyes. The debt we carried into Bush's presidency does not count variety in a Liberals eyes. the undeniable fact that The Democrats have doubled the national Debt when you consider that Bush is in basic terms a minor situation is a Liberals eyes. I classify this as a non question. It will boost an argument out of something it is minor in comparison on your events destruction to u . s . by ability of working the national Debt they are working up. at a similar time as we would desire to verify why Bush spent that ten money, you're able to desire to rouse.

The Democrats are equally patriotic as the President stated.

They want to respresent our country by being in Congress....they want control...and now they have it.

So if you have any problems or questions, contact your State and Federal Senators and House Representatives...and let's lean on them to get us answers...and tell them if they want you vote for the next Presidential election.....they must answer you.

So ...let's lean on the Democrats with what we think is wrong......the people of the USA have power and still can think, and still VOTE!!!

It isn't a question of patriotism, it's a difference in political viewpoint.
And since the newly elected Senators and Congress persons represent everyone in their district (not just Dems) I would suggest that you start making them work for you as soon as they are sworn in. Write letters, call, get involved, don't just sit back and whine and say "See? They are all bad."

Take responsibility for your government and don't let it get taken away from you.
