I like to act, I am 12 years old, I have gotten a Broadway callback, and I have been in numerous school and community theatre plays.
My friends don't think I have a shot at it, do you?

Absolutely. Stay immersed in the acting scene. You may not ever be a HUGE star but you will definitely be able to make a good living.
Some of the big stars didn't make it untiil they got noticed in a play. So keep working the theater, and try to get in some commercials.
Knowledge is power!! Go to school and learn as much about it as possible. Get a degree if you can even if its not acting related. The more experience you can draw from the better actor you will become.

Trust me! I learned the hard way that you should never listen to your friends in that department. I had a audition for Disney Channel, but I didn't go because my friends told me I wouldn't get the part. Thankfully the audition has been rescheduled after I explained the situation to the director. All I have to say is follow your heart!

Your Best bet is to audition, you may not get the part, but the director has connections if you are serious about acting he can help you find other auditions. Hope this helps. Good Luck. Break a Leg.

Sweety, don't pay attention to your friends, at least your were brave enough to even try out. Get out there have fun and your gonna do well. Have fun and "Break A leg" (showbiz for goodluck)!

Everyone has a shot, just don't die if they say no thanks, because that happnes more to everyone else than getting a job!
It's interesting to see who gets turned down sometimes, but they rarely talk about it when it comes to name actors.
