Personally, she's an icon!
Many people complain about her this-or-that being not up to snuff with the times today, but she was a vanguard for women at the time. She was beautiful and she suffered for it, she didn't live up to the homemaker expectations and she suffered for it.
She had a beautiful voice, and beautiful body, and worked ever so hard to act the part of "Marilyn Monroe," in private and in public. It was a shame that no one was interested in her for her sake, just the image.

She was a classy dancer, had classic comedic timing, and will never be forgotten. No matter who you call the bombshell of today, no one will ever be remembered like Marilyn is.

Personally, I have great respect for her.

She was much more intelligent than people give her credit for. Her "act" portraying the sexy, dumb blond bombshell was all about marketing. She knew exactly what she was doing. So sad that she had such an emotionally troubled life.

I think she is a huge part of American " entertainment" history.
She was definitely a huge sex symbol and had a very feminine sultry glamor about her .
Her style was very cartoonish- her death was a tragedy.

I think that she was really pretty and also did you know that she was a size 16. You don't see too many models these days making it in a size 16. These days models are pencil thin, bordering anorexia.
