High budget, great actors, alive cinema.
3- Lage Raho Munnabhai
Gandhigiri revisited.
4- Hera Pheri
You can watch this comedy over and over again.
5- Deewaar
Great dialogues. Amitabh Bachchan at his best.
6- Umrao Jaan (old)
Lucknawi culture and beautiful imagery.
7- Golmaal
Utpal Dutt, Amol Palekar at their best
8- Jaane bhi do yaron
Ketan Shah gives cinama one of the finest sitcoms ever!
9- Black
A heart-warming tale of shattered dreams rebuilt.
10- Anand
Rajesh Khanna immortalised.

My list, as I love action and comedy more than romance, I have omitted the later kind of movies.
Sholay -
No doubt the best indian cinema has ever made.
Mr. India -
One of the best movie for children ever produced in India. Hardly any -ve points.
Deewar -
one of the best action + drama movie, non-forgivable dialogues is another point.
Mother India -
Bollywood has produced very few female oriented movie. This one tops it.
Lagaan -
Though there are many patriotic movies, this one will be the choice of audience. And dont forget the oscar nomination.
Mughal-e-azam -
one of the greatest historical epic drama ever picturised in india.
golmaal -
When it comes to comedy, it will be impossible to forget this movie. One of the best comedy ever produced in bollywood.
Border -
Many movies are there on the lives of indian soldier. Though many of those are great, I will rate this one.
JewelThief -
When it comes to suspense movies, noone can think any other movie.
Bhoot -
Best in the indian horror movies.
