The red with black spots are ladybirds, if they are black with red spots then they are Harloquins and they eat the ladybirds and excrete yellow gunk that stains furniture. In about ten years time the Harloquins would have taken over and there will be no ladybirds left!
My boyfriends a conservationist and I do his typing, so I find out useless infomation like this!
